Ingredients

  • 2 (8 ounce) Pillsbury crescent roll dough
  • 4 strips bacon chopped
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken condensed soup
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • 1 ounce packet ranch seasoning
  • ¾ cup cheddar cheese grated
  • 2 cups shredded chicken I used a rotisserie chicken
  • 3 green onions sliced
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Over medium-high heat, cook bacon until done. Then chop and set aside.
  • Add bacon, cream cheese, chicken soup, sour cream, ranch seasoning, cheddar cheese, shredded chicken, and green onions in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
  • Roll out the crescent roll and separate it into individual triangles.
  • Add a large scoop of chicken filling and roll up from the large side to the point. Then, place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 14-18 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • Work with cold crescent dough so that it's not too sticky. Roll the triangles carefully, ensuring that all of the filling is inside and won't burn.
  • Get creative with your mix-ins! You can add diced bell peppers, jalapenos, or sauteed mushrooms for more flavor and texture.
  • Don't overfill them. Use 1-2 tablespoons per crescent roll so it doesn't spill out during baking.
  • Line your baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat for easy cleanup and to prevent the rolls from sticking.
  • These are best served fresh and hot out of the oven. They also reheat beautifully in a 325°F oven or air fryer for a crisp texture.
