Ingredients

  • 1 pounds ground turkey
  • cup green bell pepper (seeded and diced)
  • ½ cup yellow onion (diced)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic Minced
  • hamburger buns

Sauce

  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • ¾ cup Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons yellow mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground turkey to the skillet. Cook for 6-8 minutes or until browned, breaking up the ground turkey with a spatula.
  • Add onions and green peppers and cook for 4-5 minutes or until they become soft.
  • Drain off excess grease.
  • Add sauce ingredients and simmer uncovered for 6-8 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
  • Serve on your favorite buns, and enjoy.
