- 1 package of Kings Hawaiian Sweet rolls
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 yellow onion thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoons garlic minced
- 12 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 lb sliced roast beef
- 2 tablespoons A1 sauce
- 3 tablespoons butter melted
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Preheat the oven to 350℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise. Place the bottom half on a baking sheet.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute the sliced onions and garlic for 10-15 minutes or until caramelized.
Place six slice of cheese on the bottom half of the Hawaiian rolls.
Add the roast beef and caramelized onions, and pour A1 sauce over everything.
Place the remaining cheese on top and top half of the rolls.
In a medium bowl, add butter, Italian seasoning, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and brush over the top of the rolls.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Slice before serving and enjoy!
- Use any type of roll you prefer.
- Leave out the onions if you don’t like them.
- Get thinly sliced meat so it stacks easily.
- Let leftovers cool completely before storing them in the refrigerator.
