Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 ¼ cups sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can cream of chicken soup

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, cream of mushroom soup, and cream of chicken soup. Mix until well combined.
  • Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish and pour the sauce over the top.
  • Add crushed Ritz crackers, butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder to a bowl and mix until well combined. Spoon the mixture over the chicken.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until bubbly. Broil for 2-3 minutes to crisp up the topping.
  • Serve over rice or mashed potatoes and enjoy!

  • Select chicken breasts of similar size so they cook evenly and stay juicy.
  • Combine the soups, sour cream, and seasonings until smooth for a creamy, flavorful base.
