- 1 cups butter room temperature
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 6 cups quick oatmeal
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350℉. Line a 13x18 cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Using a stand mixer, cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Next, slowly add the milk.
In a separate bowl, add the flour, salt, and baking soda. Mix together.
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until well incorporated. Carefully add the chocolate chips and oatmeal. Then, mix just until blended.
Evenly press the dough into the prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges turn a slight golden brown color. Remove the bars from the oven, and cool before serving.
