- 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 (14 ounce) package of little smokies smoked sausages
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
Preheat the oven to 375℉. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Roll out the crescent roll dough and slice each triangle into three strips. Then, cut each piece of cheese into six pieces.
Place a slice of cheese in the center of the crescent roll. Then, top it with smoked sausage and roll it up. Repeat with remaining smoked sausage.
In a small bowl, add the butter and melt in the microwave. Then, add Dijon mustard, honey, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, onion powder. Mix until well combined.
Place pigs in a blanket on the baking sheet and brush butter topping on them.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crescent dough is puffed and golden brown.
- Place the crescent rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet to keep them from opening as the cook.
- Serve with a variety of condiments and sauces for dipping.
