Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter softened
  • cup brown sugar
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • cup quick oats
  • cup all-purpose flour

Icing

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350℉. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Cream together butter and suger using a stand mixer. Add in eggs, and vanilla extract.
  • Next, add salt, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix until well combined.
  • Slowly rotate, adding rolled oats, and flour. Mix until all the ingredients are incorporated.
  • Place the cookies on the baking sheet using a 2½ inch cookie scoop. Leave about 2 inches between each cookie.
  • Bake for 10-12 mins until the cookies turn slightly golden brown around the edges.
  • If you prefer a flatter cookie, gently flatten each cookie slightly using a spatula.
  • Allow cookies to cool completely.

Icing

  • Mix powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk in a small bowl.
  • Using a spoon, drizzle the icing over each cookie.
  • Serve and Enjoy!
