Crumbl Waffle Cookies

Ingredients

Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

  • ½ cup Salted butter softened
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • tbsp milk for thinning
  • ½ cup maple syrup

Instructions

  • Preheat over to 375℉. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using a stand mixer.
  • Mix in eggs, vanilla extract, and baking powder.
  • Slowly mix in the flour until the dough starts to form large pieces.
  • Place the dough on the lined baking sheets using a 3-inch cookie scoop (about ⅓ cup of dough). Leave about 3 inches between each cookie.
  • Flatten each cookie to about ½ inch, thick. Using a wooden skewer create a waffle pattern on each cookie.
  • Bake for 11-14 minutes or until the cookies are slightly golden brown around the edges.
  • If the lines on the cookies have flattened out, gently re-do the lines while the cookies are still hot. Remove the cookies from the baking sheet and place them on a cooling rack.

Vanilla Butter Cream Frosting

  • Cream together softened butter and vanilla extract using either a hand or stand mixer.
  • Slowly add powdered sugar. Use milk to thin the frosting until you get the desired consistency.
  • Place the frosting on each cookie using a 1-inch cookie scoop. Garnish with a drizzle of maple syrup. Serve and Enjoy!
