Baked Ravioli Recipe

This Baked Ravioli recipe is an easy, no-boil dinner made with frozen ravioli, a simple meat sauce, and plenty of melty cheese. Just layer, bake, and serve for a cozy weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pounds ground beef
  • 25 ounces frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 small yellow onion (diced)
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 2 teaspoon garlic minced (minced)
  • 14 ounces diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350℉ and prepare a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish by coating it with a non-stick cooking spray. Then set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and onions. Brown and crumble until there is no longer any pink showing. Drain off excess grease.
  • Add marinara sauce, garlic, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and black pepper to the skillet. Mix until well combined. When sauce begins to bubble turn heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Pour ½ a cup of meat sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Arrange ½ of the ravioli on the bottom of the baking dish. Top with half of the meat sauce and 1½ cups of mozzarella cheese.
  • Repeat with remaining ravioli, meat sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove foil and continue to bake for 10 minutes.
  • Serve while hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use frozen ravioli straight from the package for a true no-boil bake.
  • Drain the ground beef well to prevent a watery sauce.
  • Lightly spray foil before covering to avoid sticking.
  • Bake until the cheese is bubbly and golden for the best results.
