- 1 pounds ground beef
- 25 ounces frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 small yellow onion (diced)
- 24 ounces marinara sauce
- 2 teaspoon garlic minced (minced)
- 14 ounces diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cups mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350℉ and prepare a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish by coating it with a non-stick cooking spray. Then set aside.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and onions. Brown and crumble until there is no longer any pink showing. Drain off excess grease.
Add marinara sauce, garlic, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and black pepper to the skillet. Mix until well combined. When sauce begins to bubble turn heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
Pour ½ a cup of meat sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Arrange ½ of the ravioli on the bottom of the baking dish. Top with half of the meat sauce and 1½ cups of mozzarella cheese.
Repeat with remaining ravioli, meat sauce and mozzarella cheese.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove foil and continue to bake for 10 minutes.
Serve while hot and enjoy!
